Transport & Accommodation

 

How do I get to Center Parcs Woburn Forest via car? 

If you’re using a sat nav to get to Woburn Forest, the address you need is: Woburn Forest, Bedford, MK45 2HZ.

Is there parking on site? 

Yes, there is plenty of parking and it is free! (There are Eclectic Car charging spaces available too!)

How do I get to Center Parcs via public transport?

The nearest train station to Center Parcs is Flitwick Station, which is approximately a 50 minute journey from London St. Pancras.

 

Will there be a shuttle from the station to the venue?

Yes. We will be providing a shuttle bus from Flitwick Train Station to Center Parcs Hotel Reception, between 8:00am and 9:00am on the Tuesday 2nd July. We will be sending an email nearer the time to ascertain who would like to use this service.

Do I need to book accommodation?

No. We have accommodation booked for everyone attending the conference for the evening of Tuesday 2nd July.

 

If you are travelling more than 2.5 hours and you also need accommodation for Monday 1st July, please gain approval from your Line Manager and arrange accommodation in a nearby hotel. Unfortunately, we are unable to book accommodation for the night before at Center Parcs.

 

Do I need to pay for my stay? 

No, your accommodation bill will be paid for centrally. Any extras you have you will need to pay for and needs to be approved by your Line Manager.

 

I'm not comfortable sharing a cabin. Are there any other options?  

We encourage everyone to get in the team spirit and share cabins however, we appreciate that this is not preferable to some. Colleagues in cabins will have their own room and bathroom, however, we have also secured a few single-occupancy hotel rooms for those that require it.

It is possible to state a preference for this on the Enrolment form.

 

Preparing for the Conference

 

Do I need to be there for both days? 

Yes. This is a great opportunity to collaborate, celebrate and ensure we are capitalising on our 2025 plans. 

 

Do I need to bring my workbag?

No. You won't need your laptop as the day will be full of group work and presentation-style content. Pens & paper be provided on the tables.

 

What is the dress code? 

Dress code during the day is casual and practical - e.g. jeans, a t-shirt and comfortable shoes for the afternoon activities.

 

Dress code for the evening is ‘Party in the Parc’, so don your festival shirts and get your dancing shoes on!

 

Don't forget to bring your swimming costume and or sports gear if you want to make the most of facilities during your free time.

 

Can I stay at Center Parcs on Wednesday after the conference has finished?!

 

Yes! As guests, you can stay in Center Parcs and use all facilities until 10pm on Wednesday 3rd July. Don't forget to drop your wrist tag as you leave in the drop bins provided at the exit.

 

 

On the Day

 

Where do I go when I arrive?

When you arrive by car, you will be asked to make your way to Car Park G. Here you will be met by Center Parcs staff, who will collect and tag your bags. They will be put in your lodge/room ready for your arrival.  Once you have dropped your bag, please make your way to 'The Venue' (Conference Centre) to get checked in. Conference helpers, will show you the way!

What do I do with my luggage when I arrive at Center Parcs? 

We have arranged for your luggage to be dropped in your cabin. Your luggage will be taken from you when you arrive at the venue and the Center Parcs team will label your bag and take it to your lodge by the end of Day 1. Therefore, please put any essentials in a separate bag to carry with you if you’ll need access to this during the day.

How can I find out more about Center Parcs, Woburn Forest? 

Yes, on arrival, if there is a particular activity you would like to do, you can book this on site. Remember you need attend all sessions of the conference on both days, so you would need to arrange the activity in your free time. See the agenda page, for more information. Any additional activities will have to be paid for by you.
